Station Yard Track

We are re-creating Glyn Ceiriog station yard with a track layout similar to that in place at the time the Glyn Valley Tramway closed in 1935:

• the start of the passing loop through the station,

• a down siding off the passing loop, and

• a spur off the running line to the engine shed with (later) a representation of a small turntable.

Once completed, the Trust will be able to demonstrate the movement of rolling stock around the station yard using its Ruston & Hornsby diesel locomotive, horse or manpower!

We're currently looking for one more suitable point lever of the Macnee-type with an adjustable weighted lever.
